NHS

Terpanggil nak ulas isu NHS sbb ada ramai juga rungutan pasal NHS ni. Memang tak dinafikan, dalam hal ni kalau nak dibanding dgn ngr kita dari segi convenient mmg tak convenient especially part buat appointment.
Paisley NHS ni satu hal, bila sakit ke apa, kene call jam 8 pagi utk appointment hari tu, so kalau full, kene buat hari lain. Bengong.
Kalau sakit mcm demam, batuk tu memang jarang la nak dapat ubat. Tak tau apa pasal, nanti nak kene tanya Dr. Msia yg kerja kat sini.
Tapi dari segi,staff2 berlagak so far tak de pernah lalui plak pengalaman kat sini sbb kalau staff berlagak bleh report terus pd pihak berwajib. Kat msia maaf ckp memang byk yg bsar kepala,yg ni takleh nafi.
Tapi kat Msia mudah, sakit terus ke klinik, UK bukan mcm Msia, nak cari klinik dlm satu negeri punyalah susah, tak mcm msia. Abis2 kene ke farmasi.
Kalau dpt HC3 cert. dapat treatment percuma, ubat percuma dsb.Kami pernah dapat zaman miskin dulu, skang pun miskin tapi dah takleh hehehe ada HC2 sj, HC 2 ni cukup utk free consultation ubat beli sendiri, max kene byr rasanya dlm 3 pound.
Ibu mengandung free, semua free.Sampai anak umur 1 thn.
So secara umum ada pro and cons, kat msia mmg mudah utk berubat dsb, kat sini nak dpt ubat tunggu nak mati baru bleh hehehe..
Kat Msia hosp.gomen slalu ada rungutan pasal staff yg agak gedebey, tak nafi mmg wujud.
tapi hospital kat msia memang top class dr segi facilities, takde mana2 hosp. swasta dpt lawan. Cayalah. Memang barang2 semua top class. Tapi kadangkala takde expert plak nak maintain dan kepakaran tak tinggi sgt.
Tahun lepas aku buat 3d scan kat HUKM, thru cable, 3d scanner sj ada sampai 4-5 bijik,ni stok scanner biasa, ada 3d scanner yg lagi advance siap bleh tgk urat2 baby dsb. pun ada. So,memandangkan adik bradik ada doktor snang la nak terjah, kalau tak susah gak.

The National Health Service (NHS) is the shared name of three of the four publicly funded healthcaresystems in the United Kingdom. Only the English NHS is officially called the National Health Service, the others being NHS Scotland and NHS WalesHealth and Social Care in Northern Ireland is called the HSC rather than the NHS.

Each system operates independently, and is politically accountable to the relevant government: theScottish ExecutiveWelsh Assembly Government, the Northern Ireland Executive, or the UK government(for the English NHS).

Despite their separate funding and administration, there is no discrimination when a resident of onecountry of the United Kingdom requires treatment in another although a patient will often be returned to their home area when they are fit to be moved. The financial and administrative consequences are dealt with by the organisations involved and no personal involvement by the patient is required.

Non-residents

Treatment of persons not resident in the United Kingdom is subject to mostly uniform arrangements made by or delegated to the UK Department of Health rather than any individual health service.

Foreign nationals always receive treatment free at the time of use for emergencies, including accidents and emergency psychiatric treatment. Treatment for injuries caused in a road traffic accident has been chargeable since the 1930s but such charges were not generally enforced until the Road Traffic (NHS Charges) Act 1999 came into force to direct the charges to the insurers of the vehicles involved; this necessarily involves patients in the charging process even though they are not personally billed for treatment. Foreign nationals also receive free treatment if they have been legally resident in the UK for 12 months, have recently arrived to take up permanent residence, are claiming asylum or have other legal resident status. Citizens of European Economic Area nations, as well as those from countries with which the UK has a reciprocal arrangements, are also entitled to free treatment.[1]

Foreign nationals may be subject to an interview to establish their nationality and residence status, which must be resolved before non-emergency treatment can commence. Patients who do not qualify for free treatment are asked to pay in advance, or to sign a written undertaking to pay.
